This beautiful Georgian drawing room had been left untouched since the 1980s. Hardly ever used, it didn't reflect the owners interior style at all. Recommended by their friend I had helped with an Edinburgh New Town property, we set about stripping the room back to the bare bones and began afresh using a warm neutral backdrop colour palette, and focused on their favourite blues and greens.

A highly sociable couple who love to host, they wanted the room to be fully used for entertaining, as well as quiet reading and writing.

Lost to know where to begin breathing new life and soul into the unloved space, we had lots of fun pulling a fresh new scheme together.  

 

​Artwork was chosen, window panelling reinstated, flooring replaced and new furniture sourced. The end result was warmly received and the room is being enjoyed on a daily basis.
