Kitchen Refurbishment - Edinburgh

Part of an ongoing and extensive refurbishment of a magnificent double-lateral Victorian property in Edinburgh's West End, this family kitchen was designed to hold its own, both architecturally and aesthetically. The brief was to honour the grandeur of the period setting while bringing something fresh and confident to the space: deep forest green cabinetry anchors the room, paired with a bold, heavily veined marble splashback and crisp white quartz worktop worked beautifully to throw light around the space - all carefully selected to ensure the room feels both timeless and thoroughly considered.

For a north-facing room, warmth was everything. Soft, delicate, pink-washed walls work beautifully against the drama of the dark units, lifting the space without diminishing its character, including the clients' lively collection of artwork. The result is a kitchen that feels genuinely lived-in and loved - somewhere equally at home with a weeknight supper or a long, indulgent Sunday brunch.

Aberdeen Georgian Townhouse

This beautiful Georgian drawing room had been left untouched since the 1980s. Hardly ever used, it didn't reflect the owners interior style at all. Recommended by their friend I had helped with an Edinburgh New Town property, we set about stripping the room back to the bare bones and began afresh using a warm neutral backdrop colour palette, and focused on their favourite blues and greens.

A highly sociable couple who love to host, they wanted the room to be fully used for entertaining, as well as quiet reading and writing.

Lost to know where to begin breathing new life and soul into the unloved space, we had lots of fun pulling a fresh new scheme together.

Artwork was chosen, window panelling reinstated, flooring replaced and new furniture sourced. The end result was warmly received and the room is being enjoyed on a daily basis.

Ensuite Bathroom Refurbishment

This previously dark and outdated en-suite bathroom presented the ideal opportunity to transform the space into something special.

Located within a classic Georgian townhouse in Old Aberdeen, the clients wanted to achieve a light, more contemporary and luxe look that felt considered and calm; where they could unwind after a busy day and which felt fresh and energising in the morning.
