Aberdeen Townhouse
Client Brief:
A complete refurbishment was needed in this beautiful Georgian drawing room. Paint colours, furniture and upholstery, flooring, artisan joinery, artwork, window blinds and soft furnishings were all sourced to reflect the new look and feel.
“Sue listened carefully, taking time to fully understand our taste and lifestyle. We needed her help to reimagine this large, outdated drawing room. With in person meetings and frequent online catch ups, our decision-making was easy. Occasionally pushing us out of our comfort zone, she gave us the confidence to be more adventurous on certain aspects. She was sensitive to budgets and always had an eye for quality and practicality. Not only did we benefit from Sue’s expert interior design and creativity, she also sourced top quality tradesmen for us, and managed the redecoration saving us large amounts of time and stress. The result is a room that we absolutely love and actively want to spend time in. It has details that we would never have thought of and a coherence that looks effortless. We are delighted with the result.”

Client Brief:
A full renovation and restyle, with comfortable new dining seating and layered lighting, was required for this outdated kitchen.
“Not touched since the 90s, our kitchen was old-fashioned and unwelcoming. We wanted to totally modernise the look and feel and create a fresh working space with comfortable dining area which would become the heart of our home. North-facing with very little natural light, it needed careful and clever consideration. Working closely with our builder throughout the project, Sue created an inspiring new space which completely fitted the brief and is unrecognisable from before. The mirror splashbacks cleverly reflect light into the room as well as giving the illusion of more space. We love spending family time here and are always getting compliments.”

Client Brief:
This Victorian home was untouched since the 1970s and needed full renovation. The owners wanted help to create a relaxed, neutral paint scheme and design input to achieve a simple and stylish interior.
"Sue came to our rescue during a complete flat renovation. Feeling somewhat overwhelmed about paint colours, she listened to our brief, brought sample cards on site and created a detailed paint scheme, which we handed over to our decorators. Particularly impressed with her eye for detail, she carefully considered the light fall into the property. We’re really pleased with the colours chosen, how it all flows and feels so inviting. We loved the paint drenching technique she recommended, and we trusted her judgement on colours we probably wouldn’t have had the courage to use. We are truly grateful for Sue’s vision and support - she was always there at the end of the phone to answer any questions. Looking forward to our next project, we could not recommend Sue more highly for her professional, sensitive and creative approach.”

Client Brief:
Working to a tight budget, this newbuild family kitchen needed an injection of warmth and personality, without going overboard. A new paint scheme, worktop replacement and addition of acoustic panels were incorporated to give it a simple new lease of life.
“We’re really pleased with the transformation of our kitchen and all the insight and help that Sue brought to the table. Our ‘before’ kitchen was perfectly functional but as the house is a new build, it needed some character and warmth injected. This is where Sue entered and thrived! She listened carefully to what we were looking to achieve (warmth, softening of sound, freshness, energy) and created several mood boards for us to view. She had a lovely blend of listening but also tapping into the feelings that we wanted from the room. She respected our wishes and encouraged us to think differently with a lovely balance. She brings a great combination of functionality with little pops of colour and surprising elements. A rewarding and enjoyable process. We’re delighted with our warm, cosy, fresh kitchen. Five stars. We highly recommend.”

Client Brief:
A beautiful Georgian property, the decor needed a total rethink - paint colours, flooring recommendations, wallcoverings and space planning were all provided.
“Sue was brilliant at guiding me through my renovation project. With help on paint colours, flooring, lighting and fresh ideas for wall decor - her advice was invaluable. It was daunting to know where to start on this rundown Georgian property I’d purchased. Sue embraced the project with her delightful energy and enthusiasm, combining inspiring ideas and practical solutions. She created initial mood boards and brought fabric and tile samples, combining regular visits to the property with efficient correspondence. Following her visits she produced sketches and images to flesh out her ideas, helping me to visualise her recommendations. When I was stalling, Sue was always proactive, helping me make confident decisions to keep things moving with the builders. I’ve been delighted with Sue’s input at every step of the way, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly.”
